Last month Dead Oceans was proud to cast a wider net for Philadelphia’s Sun Airway, sending out the gorgeous atmospheric pop song, “Oh, Naoko” and spreading the word of their upcoming debut album, Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier.

We have another mp3 to share from Sun Airway’s new album, “Put the Days Away.” Featured in Pitchfork’s Playlist, the song was called “a standout” and “a great representation of how Barthmus balances bliss and noise.”

Today we’d also like to announce that Sun Airway has joined the Windish Agency and will be joining Bear in Heaven as support this fall. The live band includes five members whose loud collective sound captures and expands upon the dynamics of Nocturne.  The show also includes individual projections made for each song by klip collective, and you can watch the projections for “Infinity,” “Oh, Naoko,” and “Waiting On You” at the klip collective vimeo site.

Sun Airway’s debut album, Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier, will be released on Dead Oceans on October 26th in North America and January 2011 in the UK.
