School of Seven Bells Remix A Place To Bury Strangers

A Place To Bury Strangers have released a remix of their song “So Far Away” put together by School of Seven Bells. The track is available exclusively at SPIN.com today. The new version lifts Strangers’ dark sound towards hazy bliss with gentle vocals from the Deheza sisters and subtle electro beats.

The band will be touring in support of their recent EP Onwards To The Wall, across the US. Several new headlining dates have been announced as well as a full European tour that runs through mid-May. To cap things off, APTBS will join Metallica at their Orion Music Festival in Atlantic City on June 24th. Joining lead singer & guitarist Oliver Ackermann and bassist Dion Lunadon for the dates will be Robi Gonzalez on drums. The band sent a message to fans, saying:

As some of you may know, Jay Space is no longer playing drums in A Place To Bury Strangers. We salute Jay as having been such an important part of the band and continues to be very much loved friend and brother. We wish him all the best for the future. For the upcoming US/European tour dates we are super excited to be bringing on Robi Gonzalez (Jubilee, Trouble Andrew) as our drummer. We are chomping at the bit to get back on the road and can’t wait to see all of our awesome fans again!

The trio will join The Joy Formidable and Exitmusic for most of their US shows. A full list of tour dates and links to buy tickets are available HERE.
