In The Works: The Luyas Share Video Trailer, Sleepy Time Spotify Playlist

Talk about a teaser! The Luyas have been hard at work with director Mylene Simard to create a moving video to accompany the opening track to their new album. Titled “Montuno,” the 10 minute song works as perfect introduction to Animator and stands on its own as a beautiful work of art. Today we get the first look at the upcoming video. Watch the trailer above! Animator is out on October 16; you can pre-order the album on vinyl or CD at SC Distribution! INSTANT GRATIFICATION: pre-order now and you’ll receive an instant MP3 download of Animator in its entirety!

In addition to the video, The Luyas share a brand new Spotify playlist. Are you sleepy? You’ll soon be with Jessie’s masterful mix that includes artists ranging from Arthur Russell to Cass McCombs to Amen Dunes. Titled Sleepy With Me, Jessie describes her playlist as “a bunch of songs to spoon your pillow to.” Enjoy below!
