Interview With an Angel // Night Beds & NBC New York

NBC’s Oresti Tsonopoulos had the chance to sit down with Winston Yellen, the “angel-voiced frontman” of Night Beds, while he was in New York City a month or so ago for a sold out show at Pianos. So far we’ve learned Winston loves cooking, reading and hanging out with old men. What else does he fancy? Watch the interview above to find out!

INTERVIEW // Jessie Stein Talks to Nonstop Sound

The Luyas’ Jessie Stein recently moved to New York City and here she is talking to NBC’s Nonstop Sound. In this new piece, Jessie talks about her reasoning for making music and the feeling she wants her records to invoke. “I guess it’s in a way an attempt to combat the commodification of everything.” Watch the interview above.

Night Beds Perform “You Were Afraid” Live at Braund Sound, Share ‘Gin & Cereal’ Spotify Playlist

After performing at NYC’s Mercury Lounge, Night Beds stopped by Braund Sound in early October to perform their single, “You Were Afraid.” It’s the b-side to their recently released Even If We Try 7″, available now at SC Distribution. Watch above or at Brooklyn Vegan.

Winston returns to New York for a performance at Pianos on December 11. Before NYC, Night Beds head to London for opening dates with Sharon Van Etten and Wild Nothing. You’ll find all upcoming shows HERE.
