WATCH + LISTEN // Mark McGuire Shares “In Search of the Miraculous” Single With Shinji Remix (DMBQ, Boredoms), NYC Headline Show At Baby’s All Right Jan 31

Mark’s Dead Oceans debut Along The Way will be delivered to your aural cavities February 4th, 2014. Today, he releases a second single from the album entitled “In Search of the Miraculous” [via Rolling Stone premiere yesterday] and a remix from producer Shinji (DMBQ, Boredoms). On the meaning behind the second single, Mark explains:

“It’s about a person falling in love with knowledge and following that love wherever it takes him in search of truth and understanding of himself and the world…The main mantra of the song is, ‘All that we know is only learned,’ implying that all knowledge created and discovered by man is continuously open to re-evaluation and can always grow and change, which basically leaves reality open to all possibilities”

Listen and watch a psychedelic visual made by Mark to the single above and then check out Shinji‘s remix here on Soundcloud with the accompanying visual on our YouTube page here.

Pre-order Along The Way now through SC Distribution, iTunes, Amazon and your local record store.
