The Luyas Release New Live Video by Vincent Moon and Derrick Belcham. Tour with the Dodos, Liam Finn, and Ra Ra Riot

Last October, The Luyas put together a multi-media experience at Pop Montreal. They transformed the space at Red Bird studios using lighting and sculpture into an entirely new psychedelic world to house their musical performance. Takeaway Show’s Vincent Moon and A Story Told Well’s Derrick Belcham captured the performance in the above video titled “Everything Is Outta Sight.” It is a visual and aural spectacle, a truly special moment preserved in this stunning video.

Following tour dates with Ra Ra Riot that lead to South by Southwest, the Luyas will meet up with Liam Finn on a tour that will take them across North America. After barely enough time to catch their breath, the Luyas leave for a month in Europe, including several weeks touring with the Dodos. Check out full tour dates after the jump.

Sun Airway to Tour with Cults, Asobi Seksu and More! New Live Videos and “American West” Remix by S&S

Just in time for Sun Airway’s upcoming spring tour that will take them across these Great United States of America (including SXSW, tba), yvynl has produced a video that expounds upon the great visual projections that are an integral part of Sun Airway’s tremendous live show. Jon Barthmus of Sun Airway and Ricardo Rivera of Klip Collective are both interviewed, and the live footage contained offers a taste to their upcoming shows with Cults, Asobi Seksu and Small Black.

Klip Collective filmed three songs of Sun Airway performing at a recent concert at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia. You can watch “Oh, Naoko,” “Infinity,” and “Your Moon” on their vimeo here.

The great Philadelphia duo S&S (Si Young and Sammy Slice) have remixed Nocturne’s “American West.”
