WATCH // Phosphorescent Performs Two Songs For Le Cargo Sessions

Enjoy a Friday treat with Phosphorescent who performs “A New Anhedonia” and “Down To Go” off his album Muchacho. Thanks to French music webzine Le Cargo for recording these beautiful and haunting sessions!

Phosphorescent is on tour now starting with an appearance in McCarren Park in Brooklyn for the Northside Festival tomorrow night with dates on through late November. Check all the tour dates HERE.

WATCH // Brazos Share New Video for “Charm”

Hot dog! All the kids are talking about the new Brazos “Charm” video! What? You haven’t seen it? That’s a shame! Better do so now (available above or at Clash Music). The video was directed by Josh Chertoff, who sees “Charm” as “a glimpse into a life’s worth of those small moments.”

“Charm” is available on Brazos’ new album – SALTWATER! While the record is not officially out until next Tuesday, you can download all nine tracks immediately after pre-ordering the vinyl or CD from SC Distribution. Saltwater is also available at iTunes and Amazon.

Phosphorescent Premieres “Song For Zula” Video at NPR

Premiering this morning at NPR’s All Songs Considered, it is the new Djuna Wahlrab & Matthew Houck co-directed video for “Song For Zula.” Captured in one continuous, slow-motion shot, the video focuses in on a woman as she painfully tries to free herself. From what you ask? Watch above to find out.

“Song For Zula” is featured on Phosphorescent’s recently released Muchacho. You can find your copy at SC Distribution, iTunes, Amazon or from Matthew himself at one of their forthcoming shows. WATCH // Bleached “Next Stop” Video at Vogue

Bleached are back at it! Keeping with their fashion streak, the girls premiered their brand new video for “Next Stop” at Vogue. Directed by Lana Kim, the video stars both Jennifer and Jessica livin’ life and lovin’ (motorcycle rides and dance parties included). You can check out the black and white montage above.
