LSTN: APTBS Album Streaming in Full at Stereogum, See Them Live at Orion Music & More this Weekend

A Place To Bury Strangers are currently on the road, touring in support of their forthcoming record, Worship. The album is out next Tuesday, but you can listen to the album in full a week before its release via the Stereogum premiere! Like what you hear? Pre-order Worship HERE.

A Place To Bury Strangers head to the Metallica music festival, Orion Music & More, this weekend. For a band whom LA Weekly recently commented “you almost wished you still had braces because your teeth shook in your head, threatening to go crooked” after seeing the live show, a performance at this festival only makes sense. See all their upcoming tour dates HERE.

LSTN: A Place To Bury Strangers – “And I’m Up”, Pre-order Album Now to Win Pedal

A Place To Bury Strangers share the second single off their new album, Worship. Titled “And I’m Up,” the single is something singer Oliver Ackermann calls “that classic 50′s vibe our parents grew up loving oh so much and then cramming down our throats through subliminal early life listening.” Stream “And I’m Up” below!

The track premiered earlier this morning on Consequence of Sound, who writes, “The New York noise-rockers took control of their latest record, not only recording and mixing it themselves, but actually building the tools used to do all that. You can hear how all that hard work paid off in the latest album track to be released, ‘And I’m Up.’” Read the full review HERE.

Worship is out June 24, but here’s a little secret: When you pre-order the album, you’ll receive an instant gratification code, which allows you to download the ENTIRE album before it’s released. Better yet? If you purchase the deluxe bundle, you’ll be entered to win a Death By Audio ‘Fuzz War’ effects pedal, make by Oliver Ackermann himself. YOU KNOW YOU WANT THAT PEDAL! Pre-order HERE.

Don’t miss APTBS on tour! Right now they’re on the road with This Will Destroy You. See all their dates HERE.

WATCH: New Video for A Place To Bury Strangers’ “You Are The One,” “Worship” Pre-order Available Today

A Place To Bury Strangers release a new video for “You Are The One,” off their forthcoming album, Worship. The video premiered on SPIN earlier today. Directing duo Matt Moroz & Tracy Maurice deliver a twisted nightmare in this grindhouse-esque clip produced by Greencard Pictures. Shot on 16mm film, their dark, experimental style expertly mirrors the mood of APTBS’s track and elevates the music video to a cinematic noir thriller.

Moroz and Maurice’s creation recalls a 70s-era, B-movie that is definitley Not Safe For Work. The duo says, “We really loved the song. The video evoked something extremely dark, weird and disturbing.” In it, the viewer follows a mysterious figure as he viciously beats total strangers, leers at nubile young girls at an underground club, and initiates a blood-soaked make-out session. Watch above.

Starting today, you can pre-order A Place To Bury Strangers’ new album, Worship. They are offering a pretty sweet deluxe bundle just for you; it includes the album on limited edition (while supplies last) “blue death” vinyl and CD, 7″ vinyl edition of You Are the One / I Can Feel Your Heart Inside My Head, early gratification download code supplied for full album (redeemable on June 11th), a 17×22 poster featuring album artwork and finally, you’ll be entered to win a Death By Audio ‘Fuzz War’ effects pedal made by Oliver of APTBS.

Pre-order Worship from SC Distribution.
