Night Beds have premiered the new video for their single off Country Sleep, “Ramona.” The video is directed by Abraham Vilchez-Moran, and tells the story of an emotional confrontation between a transgendered teenager and his drunk father.
“The concept for ‘Ramona’ was birthed out of my aspiration to do something that would speak not only to the heart of the song’s lyrics but also to the feeling that it embodied…I was inspired to capture that raw energy in a story that would reflect what it means to be ‘Ramona’ and what it means to be ostracized for who you are.”
Brazos fans rejoice! Brazos will tour with Islands this October through the Eastern half of the United States and Canada!
While stopping in Austin on their last tour, Brazos recorded a very personal and unique version of “Always On” for the “Lost in Austin” series by local music blog, Austin Town Hall. Watch the video, produced by Guerilla Waltz, above or HERE on YouTube.

Brazos shared a new video for “Long Shot”, the closing song on the recently released album, Saltwater.

LOVE FOR MUCHACHO
“Accordingly, listening to Muchacho often feels like being warmed by afternoon sun as it floods your window. Every sound is lovingly recorded and given a cradle of space…It’s a place where well-worn sounds are the most beloved, where ideas and poses are settled into like old chairs. On ‘Muchacho,’ Houck invests this world with new beauty and profundity.” – Pitchfork, named BEST NEW MUSIC
“Phosphorescent is a Brooklyn band that hasn’t forgotten its Southern pedigree, creating washy psychedelia with a foothold in country-rock.” – New York Times
“…the sixth album from Houck is heartfelt and forlorn. Be prepared to fall in love again.” – Bowlegs Music
“‘Muchacho’ is a record which can soothe even the darkest nights and moods.” – This Is Fake DIY
