That’s how they get the swirl. Today Slowdive have shared “Sugar For The Pill (Avalon Emerson’s Gilded Escalation)” – a remix that embodies this process quite nicely. Warm and familiar, the quickly beloved track takes on a new shape at the deft hands of Avalon Emerson. With a runtime of almost 10 minutes, it’s quite the form of escapism.

We’re only a few days away from the release of Slowdive’s first record in 22 years. (We keep saying it because we can hardly believe it ourselves). That’s right, this Friday, May 5th Slowdive will be out in the world and at your fingertips.
