Califone’s second full-length release, 2003’s Quicksand/Cradlesnakes, is re-released today, and we couldn’t be more excited. While all of Tim Rutili’s seminal works helped carve out the canon of indie music, it was with Quicksand/Cradlesnakes that Califone’s sound become more fully-realized. The end result is a rich, texted, and essential album – and we’re so excited to finally have it out today, after years of being unavailable on vinyl. The reissue also includes eight bonus tracks.
