MRCY Share New Single “Better Days (ft. Yazmin Lacey)”

Between Barney Lister and Kojo Degraft-Johnson of MRCY, their musical network is rich and far reaching. New single “Better Days,” out today via Dead Oceans, sees them delve into this with friend and critically acclaimed singer, Yazmin Lacey.

On “Better Days,” MRCY explain: “Better days is a song about burnout, being stuck in a rut and hoping that you find an exit from the cycle. It is also about having your people around that can help you see that you’re not completely lost, you’re just going around in circles.”

“Better Days (ft. Yazmin Lacey)” marks MRCY’s first new music since the release of their 2025 EP VOLUME 2 and is released following MRCY’s recent tour with Durand Jones & The Indications and ahead of their Royal Albert Hall, London, show on March 23 supporting Elbow.
