It’s been just over three weeks since Mitski released Be the Cowboy. It’s easily one of the most raved about albums of 2018 and Mitski’s first album to debut in the Billboard Top 200 (landing at #52 in the Billboard Top 200, #10 in Top Current Albums, #11 in Billboard Top Albums, #2 in Vinyl Albums). The wealth of praise continues to pour in from fans and critics all over the globe.
Last night, Mitski made her late night television debut in support of Be the Cowboy on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah with both an interview and a stunning solo performance of “Geyser.” Mitski heads to the UK next week and will kick off her North American tour on October 19th. With many shows already sold out and several moved to larger venues, every ticket for this tour is on track to be sold well in advance.
