Lollapalooza Here We Come! Catch Bear In Heaven, Bowerbirds and The Tallest Man On Earth Live

Are you ready? We sure hope so, for Lollapalooza fun starts bright and early tomorrow and there’s no time to waste! Three Dead Oceans bands will perform at the festival throughout the weekend. Bear In Heaven perform on the Sony stage Saturday at 1:30PM, while The Tallest Man On Earth will take PlayStation stage at 5:15 PM the same day. Finally, Bowerbirds take the Sony stage on Sunday at 12:00 PM.

We’ve also got two artists from our sister-labels performing. Jagjaguwar’s Sharon Van Etten and Secretly Canadian’s The War On Drugs play back-to-back on Friday. TWOD kick off the Google Play stage at 2:15 PM and Sharon will start on the PlayStation stage at 3:00 PM.

Tune In Tonight: WFUV Airs The Tallest Man On Earth’s Studio A Performance, Watch Video from Session Now

The Tallest Man On Earth took time to stop by WFUV’s Studio A last month to perform a few songs off his recently released There’s No Leaving Now and chat with host Russ Borris. The session will air tonight on “Words + Music from Studio A” at 9PM ET. Watch Kristian perform “1904” above and head HERE to stream the session early! So many choices!

Stream The Tallest Man On Earth’s eTown Performance

The Tallest Man On Earth recently took the stage at Boulder Theater to perform for the long-standing syndicated program eTown. Hosted by Nick and Helen Forster, the show is available for streaming HERE and will also air to many local radio stations – find yours HERE. You can also purchase the podcast at iTunes. Joining Kristian for the show were The Spring Standards. Together they, along with the eTown House Band, performed “Cycles,” a song made popular by Frank Sinatra. Watch above.

Kristian continues his tour across the US, making his way up to Canada and eventually back to Europe. He’ll perform at Newport Folk Festival in less than two weeks. See all dates HERE.

The Tallest Man On Earth Announces New Tour Dates

Last week we saw the release of The Tallest Man On Earth’s new record, There’s No Leaving Now. You can order the album HERE. Want to hear the new songs live in concert? Kristian announces a handful of new North American dates, which you can see listed below. Stops include Lollapalooza, Newport Folk, Hop Farm and Green Man festivals!

Shayna Rose Arnold of LA Magazine caught TTMOE last week at The Wiltern. Witnessing nothing short of a stellar performance, Arnold writes, “played all together, it’s clear that Matsson’s music is made to move to—to drive to, to run to, to explore to—and he’s on his own artistic journey.” LA Magazine also shares a video of Kristian and his wife Amanada closing the show with a gorgeous duet of “Thrown Right At Me.” Watch HERE.
