Bonus Track Versions of The Donkeys’ Born With Stripes — Out Today!

Rejoice. The Donkeys’ latest, greatest longplayer, Born With Stripes, is out for mass consumption today. And for our San Diego Donkeys fans, this week is a regular old Donkfest. There are listening parties, in-stores and release shows a-go-go — the info for all of which can be checked out HERE. Be sure to also note the upcoming Donkeys show in your area on the tour that begins next week.

Both iTunes and Amazon have BONUS TRACK versions of Born With Stripes as well. Over at iTunes, you will find the comsic, self-referencing “Take You Up,” a Dead-like jammer that features the wonderful phrase, “Better buy new sneakers/Gonna clean out your ears/Wanna roll out your speakers/Because The Donkeys are finally here/To take you up.” At Amazon, you can get the plaintive, Willie-esque acoustic number “Let Your Eyes Adjust.” It’s stoner, surfer genius for your next late night beach bonfire.
