Earlier this year, Matthew Houck and Phosphorescent stopped by the NPR office to perform for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, which brings bands in for unique, stripped down sets at (you guessed it) the NPR Music staffers’ tiny desks. With his voice nearly shot, Houck still managed to deliver a stirring, beautiful set.
