Last night, Aaron Frazer made his late night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing “Lover Girl” from his debut album, Introducing…, out now on Dead Oceans and Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound label. Featuring Auerbach and filmed at his Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, the charming performance is the first time Frazer’s ever played the track live. His signature falsetto rises over drums (which he plays), bass, upright piano, tambourine, and swooning guitar in a way that’s both contemporary and timeless.
Frazer’s performance on The Tonight Show marks his second national television performance just this month, following a three-song set from Brooklyn’s Jalopy Theatre for CBS This Morning Saturday.
